How are my final invitations sent to me?
You will receive your invitations fully assembled, unless you request otherwise. We would prefer to assemble all elements of your invitations, especially if we wrap final with a bow or embellishment. Accessories items such as rsvp, direction/map items will need to be inserted into the invitation. If you would like us to apply postage to the rsvp envelope, we will charge you for purchase of stamps at cost and apply to the rsvp envelopes before assembly. Keep in mind, some invitations might need extra postage (Ex: square invitations). You will have to take a sample to your local post office and have them weigh so you know the final postage cost.
When should I mail my invitations?
A commonly asked question is “How long before my event should I order or mail my invitations”? We recommend you order your invitations as far in advance as possible. This allows plenty of time for you to have the invitation done in time for mailing. It is recommended you send out invitations six to eight weeks before event. If you would like to send, “save-the-date cards,” we can design those to match the rest of your wedding package. Those cards should be sent out 4-6 months prior to the wedding.
How are your invitations printed?
Most of the overlays are printed on a translucent vellum sheet and attached to another stock or handmade paper. Inclusion papers cannot handle direct printing due to the flower/leaves inclusions and textures. You can very easily write on handmade papers with most any pen. Our invitations are printed on a high-quality laser printer. We do have add the option of adding color in limit areas (no full bleeds).
Do you offer the option of offset printing?
We offer this type of printing. Our standard printing is by laser writer. It will raise the price of the invitation and will require more time and production. If you are interesting in this method, please call us or send us an email and we would be happy to discuss this option.
How do I order?
There are no minimum orders. A 50% deposit is required to begin production of your order. You will receive proofs for all aspects of the invitation and its counterparts prior to completion. Preferably, we like to send proofs via email (PDF format), but we can also accommodate if you do not have email and send by US mail or fax. Please keep in mind this adds additional time to the proofing stage. After approval of layouts, we will provide you with a sample of your final invitation. Once you receive your sample and have approved the final layout, we will need to receive your 50% balance prior to production. When your balance is received, please allow 4-6 weeks for final production of your invitation. Simple invitation packages, say a basic invitation for a baby shower, or birthday can be delivered with in 2-3 weeks from start of approval. More complicated invitation packages will take longer. If you have relatives out of town, or are planning to have a wedding, shower, etc. around the holidays, please order early. Rush Service is available, see PRICING. Due to the handmade nature of the product, once a mock-up has been approved and production has begun, we cannot offer a refund.
What type of payment?
We accept check, money orders. We also accept payment through PAYPAL.COM. A 50% deposit will be charged when you place an order. Two weeks prior to final production of your invites, we must receive final payment.
What if I have changes during final production?
Our original quote includes all changes and final sample before production begins. If you have changes after final is approved and production started, additional charges will be added accordingly.
Will I receive a sample prior to final production?
Once you decide to place and order, you will receive one sample of your final invitation before production. We can also assemble a sample with all the items you request, without you placing an order. Samples are available for $10 each, which we credit toward your final cost if you place an order with us. How much is shipping?
Costs for shipping are determined by the order and the final destination. We prefer to ship FedEx or Priority Mail, but we will give you options at the completion or your order. Shipping charges will be added to your final invoice and not included in your original quote.
